The ULN2803A device is a 50 V, 500 mA Darlington transistor array. The device consists of eight NPNs, and the Darlington pair has a common cathode clamping diode induction load for high-voltage output switches. The rated current of each collector, Darlington pair, is 500 milliamperes. Darlington pairs can be connected in parallel to achieve higher current capacity.
